" A Sound Choice"

QuietWalk

Better Sound

Some laminate and floating
wood floors have a reputation
of creating a "clickey" or a
hollow sound when walked on.
However, Quiet Walk ™  is
designed to draw sound in and
deaden it, not deflect it.

Quiet Walk's filaments are
randomly air laid creating a
capillary affect to cushion the
floor, absorb sound and help
make floating floors sound
more like fastened wood.

Protection from
          Leaks

When installed properly
Quiet Walk™ can wick
water and disperse it
through the pad until it
can eventually
evaporate or escape
through the subfloor.

Moderate amounts of
moisture will eventually
dissipate over time,
provided that the source
of the water leak is stopped.

The vapor barrier will protect your laminate or
wood  floor from harmful moisture.

Installations over
Normal Concrete

Subsurface moisture or
sweating from high-humidity
on concrete can cause real
problems for your laminate
or floating wood floor.

Quiet Walk™  can absorb
over 5 times its own weight
in water without swelling or
deterioration, while the vapor
barrier keeps water away
from your floor.

Since Quiet Walk and concrete
 are both "breathable" capillary
products, moisture levels and
evaporation will  fluctuate with
changing atmospheric conditions
and water tables.

Areas with High
Water Tables or
High Humidity

In geographic areas where
moisture is an even larger
problem, Top Coat from Quiet
Walk™  will seal concrete, and
stop water below the surface.

Quiet Walk™  underlayment
wicks in and gradually releases
any moisture that comes from
the top, while Top Coat stops it
from the bottom. Together they
provide an almost "moisture
proof" system for laminate,
engineered or floating hardwood
floors.
