Floor Plan I

Below you will see a completed diagram including the necessary
cuts and indicating the placement of seams with a dotted line.

This is exactly how I prepare each carpet installation for two
      reasons:
                      1.  To show the customer where there seams will be
placed so there is no disagreement after the
                            carpet is installed.
                      2.   To supply the customer with the minimum yardage
necessary to do a proper installation.

Observations

The Dining Room appears to be a high traffic area by the kitchen door. By
shifting the carpet it is possible to avoid this seam.

The Living Room has a carpet fill of only 3" in width. A carpet fill would be
stronger if it were 2' wide or greater.

Cut 3 in the diagram is  12' x 24.9" which allows the hallway to be installed
with no seams. Cut 4 in the diagram is 12' x 18.9" which allows for the 4 fills
to be installed from the waste left over from the bathroom.

Notice that the bedrooms in (Cut 3) have approximately 3" fills in width. This is
necessary in order to get the hallway installed in one piece. It is better to have
the three inch fills in the bedrooms than to have multiple seams or cross seams
     in the hallway.
