The following are some examples of substances that will remove
color or permanently stain most carpets, including carpets with stain
resistant properties:
hair dyes, shoe polish, paints, bleaches, acne medication, drain cleaners,
insecticides, plant food, iodine, toilet bowl cleaners and caustic chemicals.
